IN HER MOVEMENTS,
YOU CAN FEEL THE LOVE IN HER HEART
AND IN HER EYES,
YOU CAN SEE THE RESISTANCE IN HER MIND.

Margaritë Camaj, also known as Magi, grew up in the Bronx, New York, but has Albanian roots that go deep into her being. She an Attorney licensed in three states: New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Her passion is music and words, which is why she loves songwriting and Entertainment Law. Magi is an Author of 16 published works of literature and has been writing since she was 7 years old. She is a lover of knowledge and versatility, which explains her Bachelor's degree in History, Spanish, Theology and Philosophy.
Her works of literature range from novels to poetry to children's books. He Will Exist, Souls Up, Words Can't Explain,  Only You Know, FEEL, A Beautiful Human Heart, In Case You Need A Reminder, How To Heal In One Day, I Love: Un
ë Dua (written in English and in her native language: Albanian), Run To God, The Examination of Real Love, Read if You Need Some Love, Full Moon and Feelings, Do You Love Yourself?: 51 Questions For Your Soul, and Is The Connection Real?: 51 Questions For A Potential Partner, will give the reader access to the inner workings of her mind and heart while searching for your own soul. Where is Love? and Open Your Mind, are two books written for children to give them an opportunity to introduce them to their inner powers before entering the real world. Clipping Our Wings: The Inequality of Albanian Women and The Neglect of Mental Health is her first play (fiction), based on true events and stories, which brings to light issues of the inequality of women and the neglect of mental health in the Albanian community.

She calls writing, "her survival method." "It is my escape," she says. Her favorite topic to write about is her theory on love, which she believes to be the most powerful and immortal thing to exist even though humans are flawed.
Margaritë is a humanist. Being a daughter of immigrants and an immigrant herself, gives her the drive needed to unite the Albanian community and open up doors of opportunity to today's Albanian-American generation. Being a NYC native coming from a low-income neighborhood, it drove Magi, in her adulthood, to bring to light the issues present in the underprivileged areas in the boroughs of NYC. She calls the children who grow up in these areas, "The Rare Roses of New York City." She says, "What many may view as a disadvantage to these children, turns out to be an advantage if they remain focused." She spreads this message through writings, mentoring children, and by using social media as a platform to spread her message. She thinks that everyone should know her simply by how she makes them feel through her words rather than by her credentials. Magi believes that if you connect with her words, that is enough.

"I have Albanian roots, but I am a product of the "unprivileged" parts of New York City. I may have innocent looking eyes, but they grew up seeing everything--but what was pretty. Anything they can all think of, I am usually the opposite: a walking contradiction. I go against any false depiction. Through writing from a deep rooted love and passion was the only way I knew how to destroy their false predictions."
